This is all Music For Dreams music, collected from the label’s recent run of releases. We begin with the first single off Kenneth Bager’s experimental collaboration with Troels Hammer, Voice of Art. Modern classical and ambient pieces follow, keys waltzing in warm embrace across the dawn city sky. Melancholy guitar meanderings follow and Rheinzand captures the proverbial isolation mood with a cover of a classic.
We have Copenema’s daytime chill out vibes and Perfect Plush’s CPH-after-dark enchantment. A meandering head bopper from Bongo Entp., a glimmering disco jewel from Reinzand and islandman’s trademark club-dub mysticism follow – vignettes of our city’s magical little corners and idiosyncrasies. Kenneth Bager & Reinhard Vanbergen’s tribute to the late Andy Weatherall, ‘Late Night Symphony’ deserves a mention.
