RKDIA RETURNS WITH NEW SINGLE “OLYMPIA I” AND UPCOMING ALBUM INTO OLYMPIA
RKDIA is back with their signature high-energy fusion of electronica, jazz, and broken disco. The powerhouse duo, featuring Morten Schantz (synths) and Anton Eger (drums), is set to release their explosive new single, “Olympia I,” on April 8th, 2025, via Music For Dreams, paving the way for their full-length album, “Into Olympia,” arriving in August.
With technical brilliance, hypnotic grooves, and an epic sense of scale, RKDIA injects the raw energy of jazz into synth-driven electronica and soaring, cinematic anthems. The upcoming single, “Olympia I,” blends and creating a sound that feels both nostalgic and futuristic.
Their electrifying live performances have captivated audiences worldwide, with over 100 shows across Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, France, the UK, Zanzibar, South Korea and Thailand. In December 2023, the duo was personally invited by His Majesty the King of Bhutan to perform at the National Stadium in front of 35,000 people during the country’s National Day celebrations—an unforgettable experience that further expanded their musical journey.
Both Eger and Schantz are internationally recognised for their work with JazzKamikaze, Phronesis, and Marius Neset, as well as their own acclaimed solo projects. Now, with “Into Olympia,” they continue to push boundaries, crafting a sound that is as adventurous as it is infectious.
