Turkish electronic trio islandman announce their next single, ‘Kalpler’, which will drop September 29 on Music For Dreams.
The song is a demonstration of the group’s musical ambition: traditional folk ideas rendered through kaleidoscopic electronic sounds. Rich in echoing details and hazy atmospherics. ‘Kalpler’, meaning ‘hearts’ in Turkish, the song resonates with a personal pathos.
The single comes off the Popsicle Obstacle EP, to be released October 13 on Music For Dreams.
