islandman are releasing their brand new single ‘Sunshine’.
This is the first track from their highly anticipated 4th Album ‘Popsicle Obstacle’ dropping on 6th October on Music For Dreams.
The track was recorded in the spring during the bands visit to Copenhagen. As the title suggests its a summery number with an uptempo beat & an infectious guitar hook.
The band wanted to experiment & flirt with these pop sensibilities more on their new album, whilst retaining their unique identity and Turkish roots.
The hypnotic ear-worm lyrics of ‘Sunshine’ dive you right into this indie-dance-pop number reminiscent of bands such as M83, Caribou, Empire of the Sun, Animal Collective.
