Lost Child is the first single from her forthcoming debut album, which will be released in the beginning of 2025 on Music For Dreams.
Pavon has been named among emerging artists to watch in 2024 by DJ Mag and Disco Pogo. Her “combustible blend of impassioned lyrics and club-geared beats” (DJ Mag) have earned her comparisons to Charlotte Adigéry and Kelly Lee Owens, while Danish critics have named her “the country’s fiercest live performer” (Soundvenue).
On new track ‘Lost Child’, Pavon sets her fiery vocals against a stylish, highoctane house pop beat. The song, written by Pavon herself, explores conflicting feelings of empowerment and confusion, channeling both the thrill and vertigo of youth into one, single discharge of energy.
She says about the song:
“‘Lost Child’ is a song about maintaining one’s childish ways in life. Not being afraid to be curious, unassuming, spontaneous. To live in one’s own way, even if it means getting lost out there.”
This summer Julie Pavon is playing at Roskilde Festival (DK) and Fusion
Festival (DE) among other shows.
