The first taste of Prins Emanuel’s forthcoming Diagonal Musik II has landed.
‘Västan Vind’ is an organic, gauzy composition that sits between post-minimalism, IDM, and experimental folk. Textured melodic loops are layered with subtle electronic elements to create a liminal feel of lost emotion, blooming and deepening in warm surges.
Quoting Simon Eliasson, the LP will see “composer Prins Emanuel in full bloom as he turns head deep into the techniques he established on the preceding outing of Diagonal Musik.” Album release November 3rd.
