Label head Kenneth Bager’s remix is a chunky bassy house jam in a style reminiscent of Dixon’s DJ sets, with electronic percussion, jamming keyboards, cushioned by a truly off the wall vocal hook – funky as F***. Followed by the superb quirky Dub Mix bringing back memories of ‘White Horse’ with its spacey synths, heavy bass and bouncing beats. Flip over for ‘Don’t Step On The Grass’ – a great live-sounding funky reggae groover in Laid Back’s signature style which wouldn’t sound out of place in a Todd Terje or DJ Harvey set – you can almost feel the sun!
