Ambient/modern classical composer Troels Hammer makes tranquil, beatless pop on new single ‘Grandma’s Universe’.
Guitar, bass, strings and synths are worked into a sort of deconstructed chillout, serene shapes dancing on the wind, elements drifting in and out of focus as Clara Valente pours her silky vocals into the cicada-laden night air.
The single is the first taste of Hammer’s forthcoming album, set to be his seventh LP on Music For Dreams.
